Reporting to the Head of Public Information and Stakeholder Networking, the jobholder will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including:
- being responsible within the Agency for the coordination of safety announcements between the Agency and the national competent authorities both for centrally and non-centrally authorised medicines;
- producing, in collaboration with other parties of the Agency and Member States, supportive information for dissemination within the European Union regulatory network whenever necessary;
- contributing to the processes of early identification of topics leading to external communication;
- contributing to discussions on the Agency’s plans and strategies on communication to the public, both internally and with external stakeholders, e.g. patients and healthcare professionals;
- providing medical writing and editing skills in English, including reviewing documents prepared by colleagues within the Agency and collaborating in the preparation of reports for the general public;
- contributing towards the consistency and clarity of documents written for the general public.
