Report and videos available from Enpr-EMA launch
The European Medicines Agency has published the report from the third workshop on the European Network of Paediatric Research at the European Medicines Agency (Enpr-EMA). The workshop, which introduced the network to a wider audience, took place on 10 and 11 March 2011.
The report summarises the activities that took place at the two-day workshop, including:
- the establishment of Enpr-EMA's co-ordinating group;
- the election of the co-ordinating group's chair, Professor Peter Helms;
- the introduction of Enpr-EMA to stakeholders, particularly patient organisations, clinical researchers and pharmaceutical industry staff responsible for paediatric studies.
Enpr-EMA is a network of research networks, investigators and centres with recognised expertise in performing clinical studies in children, which aims to foster high-quality ethical research on quality, safety and efficacy of medicines to be used in children.
Videos of the presentations given on the second day of the workshop are also available, along with the slides used to support these presentations, on the workshop page.
