Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use re-elects Dr Anja Holm as chair

The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) re-elected Dr Anja Holm as its chair for a second three-year term at its June 2013 meeting.
Dr Holm has been a senior scientific officer in the department of veterinary medicinal products of the Danish Medicines Agency (which was incorporated into the Danish Health and Medicines Authority in 2012) for the past 15 years. She is qualified in veterinary medicine from the Danish Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University.
The CVMP is the committee at the European Medicines Agency that is responsible for preparing opinions on questions concerning medicines for veterinary use. Its chair is elected from its members for a term of three years, which may be renewed once.
