This meeting discusses issues in relation to the general involvement of patients' organisations in the Agency's activities, giving particular focus to the new policy on conflicts of interests, funding of organisations, training strategy, involvement in benefit-risk evaluations and the new pharmacovigilance legislation, as well as presentations concerning the Innovative Medicines Initiative and the European Patients' Academy on Therapeutic Innovation.
