Event summary

In 2020, Enpr-EMA held a meeting with the Coordinating Group and networks only instead of its regular annual workshop, considering the Agency’s business continuity plan related to COVID-19.

The European Commission provided feedback on the evaluation of the Paediatric and Orphan Regulations, as well as on the EU Pharmaceutical Strategy. Moreover, the meeting focused on the impact of COVID-19 in the paediatric population and facilitated a dialogue on overcoming the challenges caused by the pandemic on clinical trials in children, and learnings for the future.
