Event summary

The Accelerating Clinical Trials in the EU (ACT EU) Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) was formally established in 2023 as a forum for clinical trials stakeholders and regulators to exchange views and work together to improve the clinical trials environment for patients and citizens across Europe.

Through its Advisory Group (MSP AG), the platform supports continuous and structured dialogue across sectors and between stakeholders and regulators.

After three years of operations of the MSP, and the upcoming conclusion of the first mandate of the MSP AG, the annual MSP meeting aims to:

• reflect on the progress achieved and key lessons learned since the platform’s establishment;
• identify the actions needed to deliver the ACT EU workplan by 2027;
• explore opportunities to shape the next generation of collaboration between stakeholders and regulators within the ACT EU MSP AG.
