The EMA/HMA European Platform for Regulatory Science Research brings together academic and not-for-profit researchers and regulators, as well as other stakeholders, with the goal to advance research in regulatory science. Research in this field supports the development and evaluation of medicines.

The European Platform Regulatory Science Research meeting aims to:

• Support scientists and researchers interested in activities that could help address regulatory science
  research needs
• Share best practices, discuss emerging methodologies, foster collaboration and translation of
  research outcomes into useful solutions for developers and regulators
• Grow the community of researchers whose work contributes to advance regulatory science

• The Platform and progress in regulatory science
• Research on clinical endpoints as accelerators for improving the health system
• Disease biology and mechanisms of action - Research into pharmacological commonalities
• Research needs in veterinary regulatory science: new approach methodology research in veterinary science and building on experience from human domain
