Requirements for vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease - Scientific guideline

This document considers the aspects of the production and use which are unique to foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccines and which are suplementary to the scope of the European Pharmacopoeia. It also clarifies the requirements of the relevant European Pharmacopoeia monographs and defines additional requirements that should be met for FMD vaccine to be considered as suitable for use in the EU.
