This document concerns the use of (fluoro)quinolones in food-producing animals other than in aquaculture and honey production in the EU. It addresses the effect of their use on development of resistance to this category of antimicrobial agents in bacterial species that are of importance for human and animal health, and the potential impact on human and animal health.
