The group’s responsibilities include providing expertise on the establishment of maximum residue limits (MRLs) and on the preparation of guidelines relating to the safety of veterinary medicinal products and to user safety.

The SWP-V is composed of European experts nominated and appointed by CVMP. Additional observers may also attend the meetings of the working party, if required.
