Vacancy notice for EMA's future Executive Director

The selection process for EMA's next Executive Director is now open. 

The successful candidate will take up her or his duties in November 2020, once the mandate of EMA's current Executive Director is completed.

The purpose of launching the selection process in May 2019 is to enable a seamless transition between the current and future jobholder.

EMA's Executive Director is responsible for leading and managing one of the leading regulatory authorities worldwide and taking overall responsibility for its operations. S/he is responsible for ensuring that EMA fosters public health in Europe through evaluating the effectiveness and quality of new medicines and monitoring their safety.
