The effective negotiation and implementation of contractual agreements remain a central challenge in the conduct of clinical trials across Europe. Stakeholders have repeatedly highlighted the absence of dedicated platforms where common topic issues can be discussed with the right expertise and representation.
In response, this webinar brings together national and EU‑level experiences to share insights into contractual templates initiatives and raise awareness of the complexities within the contractual agreement process, often causing delays in the start of the recruitment after regulatory approval of the trial application.
In alignment with one of the Key Performance Indicators developed by ACT EU, focused on achieving 66% of clinical trials recruiting patients within 200 calendar days or less from the date of application submission, this webinar serves as a first step to set the scene, learn from ongoing initiatives and stimulate discussions on the current European landscape of clinical site agreements.
As foreseen in the ACT EU multi-annual workplan 2025-2026, a webinar is organised on 16 April 2026. The agenda covers ongoing national and international initiatives, to openly discuss barriers and challenges faced by stakeholders.
Registration is open via EUSurvey until 3 April 2026 EOB. Submissions will be reviewed, and access details will be shared with selected participants.
