European Medicines Agency (EMA) and Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) webinar on data collection on sales and use of antimicrobials
Table of contents
This is the third joint webinar organised by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), in the context of implementing the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation.
This event focuses on data collection on sales volumes and on the use of antimicrobials in animals in the European Union (EU) and its implications for animal health professionals. It includes presentations from national competent authorities and animal health practitioners.
It provides an opportunity to learn from the experience of Member States with setting up systems for data collection on sales and the use of antimicrobials in animals in the EU and associated activities, including an ongoing project on collection of antimicrobial sales and use data and European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption (ESVAC).
Registered participants can ask questions to a multi-stakeholder panel representing animal health professionals, veterinary national competent authorities and EMA.
A video recording will be available after the event.
