Russia

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) supports the European Commission's activities in Russia, by contributing to interactions on pharmaceuticals between the European Union (EU) and the regulatory authorities of Russia.

The European Commission has a roadmap with Russia, which includes collaboration with the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare on pharmaceuticals.

The EU and Russia set up a regulatory dialogue subgroup on pharmaceuticals in 2007.

EMA is involved in this collaboration whenever there are scientific or technical issues to discuss.
