The statement provides information on EMA's environmental performance and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

EMA published its first yearly environmental statement in 2025.

Eco-friendly initiatives

EMA has several ongoing initiatives aiming to reduce its environmental footprint. These initiatives include:

  • Making all procurement practices eco-conscious
  • Implementing digital workflows to reduce use of paper, such as for printing
  • Including energy rating in its procurement of electronic equipment
  • Ensuring its office building upholds its current 'excellent' rating as certified by BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology)

In addition, EMA leadership provides strategic guidance and promotes continuous improvement in environmental awareness at all levels of the organisation.
