Scientific Advisory Group on Vaccines and Therapies for Infectious Diseases (SAG-V&ID)

The Scientific Advisory Group on Vaccines and Therapies for Infectious Diseases (SAG-V&ID) is a scientific advisory group set up to support EMA's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP).
HumanVaccines

The group convenes at the request of the EMA’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) to provide independent recommendations.

The group addresses scientific, clinical, and technical matters related to vaccines and therapeutic medicinal products for infectious diseases that the CHMP evaluates. The group may also advise the CHMP on any other scientific issues relevant to its work in this area.

The group has been formed by the merger of the Scientific Advisory Group on Infectious Diseases and the Scientific Advisory Group on Vaccines.
