In July 2024, the European Commission published the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1973, which establishes a list of antimicrobials which shall not be used under Articles 112 and 113 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 or which shall only be used under those Articles subject to certain conditions.
To support veterinarians in their daily practice and in their critical role in mitigating the development of antimicrobial resistance, the Agency and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe are hosting a webinar on the conditions for using certain antimicrobials under the 'cascade'.
This session is a follow-up to the EMA/FVE info session on restrictions for the use of certain antimicrobials in animals. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts who contributed to the development of the available guidance.
