This press briefing will discuss EU actions to tackle shortages of GLP-1 receptor agonists indicated for the treatment of diabetes and in some cases for weight management in patients with obesity or weight-related conditions.

Speakers:

• Karl Broich, President of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM)

The two speakers co-chair the Executive Steering Group on Shortages and Safety of Medicinal Products (MSSG).
