EMA held a virtual press briefing on the outcome of the meeting of EMA’s human medicines committee (CHMP), to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine from BioNTech / Pfizer on 21 December.

Speakers included Emer Cooke (EMA's Executive Director), Harald Enzmann (Chair of CHMP), Sabine Straus (Chair of PRAC) and Marco Cavaleri (Head of Biological Health Threats and Vaccines Strategy). The press briefing was moderated by Marie-Agnes Heine, EMA's Head of Communication.
