Andreas Pott appointed Deputy Executive Director of European Medicines Agency

The European Medicines Agency's Executive Director, Guido Rasi, has appointed Andreas Pott as Deputy Executive Director.

Mr Pott's appointment follows 11 months of service as Acting Executive Director this year, prior to Professor Rasi taking up his position on Wednesday 16 November 2011. The appointment is effective immediately.

Mr Pott will continue to serve as Head of Administration in addition to being Deputy Executive Director.
