Workshop on conflicts of interests: deadline for registration extended

The European Medicines Agency has extended the deadline for registration for its workshop on conflicts of interests, best expertise vs conflicts of interests: striking the right balance, until 28 August 2013 due to the summer holiday period.
People interested in participating should send an e-mail to coiworkshop@ema.europa.eu before this date, including their name, title and organisation name. Places at the workshop are limited and will be allocated to ensure a fair representation across all stakeholder groups and organisations.
Those who have already sent an e-mail to this address will be contacted shortly to confirm their participation.

More on the workshop on conflicts of interests
The workshop will be held on 6 September 2013 from 10:30 to 16:00 at the European Medicines Agency in Canary Wharf, London. The event is intended to elicit views and concerns from academia, patient organisations, committee representatives, non-governmental organisations, the pharmaceutical industry and the scientific media on the Agency's current conflicts-of-interests policy for committee members and experts.
