Non-remunerated and remunerated donors: safety and supply of plasma-derived medicinal products - Scientific guideline

This document questions whether the use of non-renumerated donors is important for the safety of plasma medicinal products. It gives special consideration to the risk of variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) transmission.
