First EMA regular press briefing on COVID-19

The European Medicines Agency's (EMA) is holding this virtual press briefing to provide an update on its most recent activities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a technical briefing, intended to give an overview of the state-of-play of the current situation.
EMA will be holding briefings for the media on a regular basis, initially every two weeks. To complement these regular technical briefings, EMA will continue to hold ad-hoc press conferences as necessary and appropriate.
Speakers include:
- Marco Cavaleri (Head of Biological Health Threats and Vaccines Strategy)
- Fergus Sweeney (Head of Clinical Studies and Manufacturing Task Force).
- Georgy Genov (Head of Pharmacovigilance)
The press briefing will be moderated by Marie-Agnes Heine (Head of Communication Department).
