EMA participated in the Canal Parade during WorldPride under the motto "United for health" to show how inclusive science and collaboration can improve public health.
Our boat joined 80 others sailing Amsterdam's canals in front of an estimated audience of 300,000 people.
Representatives of patient organisations and the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board joined EMA staff on our boat.
Together, we highlighted the importance of diversity, equality and inclusion. We also expressed our support for the LGBTQI+ community and appreciation for our host city's long-standing commitment to these values.
EMA became the first EU agency to participate in WorldPride.
