This training webinar is dedicated to the new functionality of the European Shortages Monitoring Platform (ESMP) for marketing authorisation holders (MAHs). It concerns Readable IDs to be used within the submission templates for routine shortage reporting, MSSG-led preparedness and crisis reporting via the ESMP for centrally and nationally authorised products.
EMA is committed to continuous improvement of its systems, and this enhancement to the reporting process is a direct outcome of the feedback EMA received from ESMP users.
Until now, submission templates for routine shortage reporting, MSSG-led preparedness, and crisis reporting in ESMP have relied on numerical RMS ID codes to record standardised key supply and availability reporting data. With the introduction of Readable IDs, users will be able to select clearly understandable identifiers and verify the values they are submitting without the need to cross-reference external lists.
Join this training session to discover how this enhancement will streamline your workflow, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency. The session will include a comprehensive demonstration of the new functionality.
Further, an overview of other ESMP improvements such as the inclusion of manufacturing sites of NAPs in crisis and preparedness reporting, and minor enhancements in the routine shortage reporting process will be discussed as well as upcoming developments in the ESMP. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions through a dedicated Slido which will be addressed during the Q&A sessions.
The event is aimed at all MAHs operating in the EU/EEA.
