Event summary

The EMA Cancer Medicines Forum (CMF) is organising a workshop on 14 November 2025 to enable industry support for cancer treatment optimisation.

This workshop is organised to discuss:

• The industry support for cancer treatment optimisation from innovation to practice and to enable a stakeholder dialogue. 
• Opportunities for industry to support treatment optimisation both during development and after marketing authorisation.

Topics to be explored include dose optimisation, rewarding mechanism for post-marketing studies, industry’s role in supporting optimisation post-approval, data and tissue sharing.

The workshop concludes with recommendations about priorities for further collaboration between industry and academia in the context of the CMF.
