Event summary

The EMA Cancer Medicines Forum (CMF) is organising a workshop on 14 November 2025 to enable industry support for cancer treatment optimisation.

This workshop is organised to discuss:

• The industry support for cancer treatment optimisation from innovation to practice and to enable a stakeholder dialogue. 
• Opportunities for industry to support treatment optimisation both during development and after marketing authorisation.

Topics to be explored include dose optimisation, rewarding mechanism for post-marketing studies, industry’s role in supporting optimisation post-approval, data and tissue sharing.

The workshop concludes with recommendations about priorities for further collaboration between industry and academia in the context of the CMF.

Registration closes on 30 September 2025 for in-person participation. In-person participation is confirmed by mid-October 2025 and is based on the capacity of the venue and distribution amongst several stakeholders.
